A long time friend of Janet and Gillian, involved in community development, I have always been a keen supporter of this kaupapa. As a funeral director I love being able to support families and friends to navigate a meaningful celebration of life for their loved ones. I’ve had a career in sustainability consulting and appreciate the approach taken by Aroha to minimise impact and stress with an emphasis on compassion and care.
In my spare time I swim in the sea and am a keen gardener, supporting local food production within the community and am an occasional jeweller. I feel blessed to be able to work in this caring environment.
