The work we do at Aroha Funerals means a lot to me. It’s a place where families are truly at the centre. Being part of a team that approaches this work with such thoughtfulness and heart is something I really value.

Over my career, I’ve worked across the private and public sectors — with start-ups, entrepreneurs, and larger organisations, including nearly ten years with Kāinga Ora. I’ve also developed an app to support eyesight development in babies. A common thread through all of it has been helping people and ideas grow in practical, useful ways.

I live in Maraetai with my husband and our two older children, and I’m lucky to have my mum, dad, and my wonderful mother-in-law nearby. Community life matters to me — I founded the Pōhutukawa Coast Mountain Bike Academy and support local non-profits and start-ups where I can. I’m an avid reader and our home is full of music — and I spend a lot of time at the beach or in the bush; being outdoors is where I feel most at home.
